How to Find New Life

through Jesus Christ!

God's Purpose

Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  (John 3:16)   God's purpose is that we have eternal life.

Our Need

Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  We have ALL sinned!  There are no exceptions.

Romans 6:23 tells us, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God's Provision

Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."  Jesus accomplished what we could never have done for ourselves.  He paid the price, the penalty for our sins which opens the way to God's forgiveness and a new life.

Our Response

Romans 10:9-13 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."  Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!  Give Him control of your life!  Believe that He died for your sin, was buried, and rose again.  Ask Him in prayer to forgive your sin and come into your heart!  He promises that He will.  "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."  (Romans 10:13)

If you are ready, then pray this prayer:  "Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead.  Because I have sinned and need forgiveness, I ask Jesus to come into my heart.  I am willing to allow Him to change the direction of my life by acknowledging Him as my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for giving me forgiveness, eternal life, and hope.  In Jesus' name, amen."

You can be assured of your salvation

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".   (Romans 8:38-39)
